A journey from public service to technology law innovation
I began my career with a passion for helping others, particularly juveniles in trouble. After working with the public defender's office, I realized my impact could be greater elsewhere and moved to Virginia to work with a general contractor, handling everything from contract negotiations to litigation.
This experience led me to Cigital, Inc., a technology company where I became their first and only attorney. When Cigital was acquired by Synopsys, Inc., I continued my journey, now serving as Director of Corporate Counsel, focusing on cutting-edge technology law, AI governance, and digital transformation.
Education: I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Longwood University (majoring in Business Management with a minor in Economics) and a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School.
